difference

when i work as a handbag designer for customers’ brands,
“ story” is the name of my workshop .
since i believe every bag is a story,
when we look at or open up one’s bag,
we could tell what kind of person he/she is.
and find out their uniqueness.

from the choice of color, fabric, construction,
when , where and how to use it,…..
we start getting to know someone,
with a different bag, we know a different person,
the contact starts there.

our planet is getting hot, while our human touch is getting cold,
now i start making handmade bags to keep temperature normal.
within this temperature, our distance keeps close ,
within this distance, our uniqueness stands most .

the series of “ difference” bags,
carries the most domestic style I ever did,
they are so familiar and everywhere,
your choice tells their difference,
your difference make your own choice.

冼伯牌行山背囊

冼伯，八十多歲，行山達人，早年善於8小時以上的長程急走線，縱橫香港各山脈水澗中﹔近年放慢腳步陪後生走走都玩５－６小時。對這項運動的鍾情，不只每星期行３－４次山﹔更DIY行山背囊。以行山時需要及方便記憶作設計出發點，內外格數超越市面上任何一個背囊，簡直儲物柜一樣，單就外面，上下左右大小不同拉鏈格，側邊更有一個插袋放遮，一個插袋放水壺﹔另一邊有特別裝置行山扙拉鏈格，想到就做到的好例子。為方便記憶，每格用不同顏，撞色撞得好有型﹔貼背脊位更加設紅黑白經典籐蓆一張，實用美感兼備。背囊陪伴冼伯馳騁大小山脈，都有十年八載，隨年月的補補縫縫，新舊袋格粗幼線步，做出一個有經歷的背囊。這個年代已經很難見到用舊的手袋背囊，所以很難從袋看到個人越歷，甚至個性﹔當然，更甚少DIY！！
